Paleontologia de escritório: este é o termo correcto para descrever o que temos feito. Interessante? Nem por isso. Necessário? Sem dúvida. Como resultado, a majestosa ideia de livre arbítrio rapidamente perde sentido.
- Então o que estão a fazer em Moçambique?
- Estamos cá para estudar fósseis.
- Ah! Fossas... aqui há muito trabalho para fazer...
- A sério? Onde?
- Vocês terão imenso trabalho aqui! Às vezes as tampas das fósseis sépticas saltam e temos de limpar tudo.

Office Paleontology: that is the right term to describe what we’ve been doing. Interesting? Not really. Necessary? No doubts. As a result, the majesty of the idea of free will quickly becomes meaningless.

– We came here to study fossils. [the Portuguese word for fossils is “fósseis” which is quasi-homophonous to the word “fossas”, meaning septic tank]
– Ah! “Fossas”… there is lots of work to do here…

– You guys will have lots of work here! Sometimes the sealing of the tanks jump out and we have to clean it all.
