Criar um inventário pode ser uma tarefa entediante... muito entediante... e após algum tempo encontramo-nos a ouvir canto gregoriano enquanto empacotamos fósseis com papel higiénico no meio de Moçambique. Pouco há a fazer, é melhor continuar a embrulhar até o Sol se pôr, até termos os pés frios e os mosquitos acordarem e começarem a morder.
Os cantos gregorianos foram interrompidos pelo som de tambores de uma festa distante. Hoje, Moçambique celebra o dia da idependência. A indepência de um tempo colonial português deu agora lugar a uma cooperação productiva entre dois países unidos por laços históricos profundos.

Making an inventory can be a boring task.... veeeery boring... and after a while you find yourself listening to Gregorian music while wrapping fossils with toilet paper in the middle of Mozambique. Not much that we can do about it: better keep wrapping until the sun goes down, our feet get cold and the mosquitoes are all awake and happy biting us.
Our Gregorian songs were interrupted today by the sound of drums from a far distant party. Today Mozambicans celebrate the Day of Independence. The independence from the Portuguese colonial times is now replaced -- in our case -- by a fruitful cooperation between these two countries linked by historical bounds.
